4th International Symposium on HPV Infection in Head and Neck Cancer November 5th and 6th, 2020
Dear Colleagues and friends,
The 4th International Conference on HPV Infection in Head and Neck Cancer will be held November 5th and 6th 2020 at the OBA Conference Center in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. This conference belongs to a bi-annual series that started in Poznan in Poland, followed by Leipzig, Essen and now Amsterdam.
Infections with cancer-causing human papillomaviruses (HPV) are becoming more and more common in patients with head and neck cancer, and amounts to 80-90% in the oropharynx in many developed countries. For this symposium we are bringing together International experts on epidemiology, diagnostics, treatment, and more basic research to share “state of the art” knowledge of the role of HPV in head and neck Cancer. We hope to stimulate through active discussions and exchange of scientific knowledge the current and future clinical management of patients suffering from HPV-induced head and neck cancer.
Lectures will be given by internationally renowned experts and presentations of selected abstracts will be complemented by panel discussions, tumor boards, debates and posters. Plenty of opportunities for interactive discussions are scheduled to especially stimulate young clinicians and researchers as well as students to actively participate and contribute to this conference.
The symposium will be held at the Public Library located in the center of Amsterdam, which will serve as a fantastic venue for this symposium. This will support the exchange of scientific ideas and clinical expertise, with an opportunity to visit historic Amsterdam.
We are very much looking forward to meeting you in Amsterdam in November 2020.
